Our Cask Ales are Tapped!

FRESHLY TAPPED EVERY THURSDAY

We source all our ale from local, independent micro-breweries as 9-gallon firkins which are allowed to settle and condition for up to seven days. We then broach the casks and serve 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel into 2 pint, 4 pint, 5L Minikeg containers - there are no lines or pumps to taint the ale. All our ales are fully temperature controlled to maintain optimum quality.

Treat yourself to a freshly poured pint this weekend.

Fresh 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel. Order your 2 pints, 4 pints or 5L minikegs online. Poured on-site to preserve the freshness.

Kernel Table Beer

West Coast Style Pale Ale
England: London
ABV 3.0%

In a Nutshell:
A proper session beer, easy on the ABV but brimming with bright hop flavour and a satisfying malt backbone.

The Lowdown:
This classic table beer hit the scene back in 2012 and was a pioneer among flavoursome, lower-strength brews. They weren't about to sacrifice character for a lower ABV so you can expect those signature bright hop aromas, singing with citrus and a touch of the tropical. Rolled oats give it a satisfying body while a measured bitterness keeps things balanced. A proper beer at around 3%, proving you don't need a high ABV to make something that hits the spot.

Utopian Brewing British Red Ale

Amber, Red Ale & Bitter
England: Devon
ABV 4.4%

In a Nutshell:
Amber-red ale brewed with British malt, Mystic hops and a dash of black treacle. Fruity, malty and nicely balanced.

The Lowdown:
Made in Devon with all-British ingredients, this takes its cue from the American red ale style, so there's a bit more hop punch than your average bitter. Mystic hops bring out blackcurrant, passionfruit and a hint of lemon, while the treacle deepens the malt and adds a mellow sweetness. It's smooth, gently bitter and finishes clean. A rounded, easygoing ale that hits a sweet spot between traditional and modern.
